BEAU innovation agenda
BEAU: Built Environment Architecture Urbanism
The government earmarked the creative sector as a top sector in view of its current strong position and scope for growth to target investment in this sector industry and science.
A top team is created for each top sector. It comprises a scientist, a senior official, an innovative SME entrepreneur and a standard bearer for the sector. Victor van der Chijs, managing partner at OMA is the standard bearer for the top sector creative industry.
CLICK is the linking pin in the development of the top sector Creative Industry. CLICK combines seven innovation networks. The network for Built Environment, Architecture and Urbanism (BEAU) is one of them. BEAU's chairs are Frank van der Hoeven, TU Delft/3TU.BOUW and Fred Schoorl, BNA/FDCI.
CLICK//BEAU has developed an innovation agenda that is integrated in CLICK's overall agenda. BEAU puts a strong emphasis on energy efficiency, user-inspired design and reuse, intends to use cities as a lab environment for innovative firms.
